Dry roast coriander, cinnamon, cardamom, pepper corns, cloves till you get a nice aroma.
Grind this masala finely. Then add garlic and re-grind it again. Keep this masala powder aside.
Cook the chicken in kadai with a cup of water until tender. Take about 10 minutes.
Heat oil in frying pan. Add fennel seeds and fry for a minute.
Add the chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
Add curry leaves and fry till crisp.
Add the chicken pieces and fry lightly for a few minutes.
Finally add the grinded masala powder till its well coated.
Serve as a side dish with main course of rice, sambar/rasam!
