Japi is a traditional symbol of Assamese folk culture used by the farmers. Gamosa means ‘something to wipe the body with’. Guests are welcomed with the offering of gamosa. Xorai, a bell-metal object, is an offering tray with a stand at the bottom.

Did you know that Lions are nocturnal animals? Lions mane can grow up to 16 cm long and it is a sign of its power and dominance. The mane gets darker with age and it helps prevent them from injuries too. It always catches my eye to see the king of the jungle.
