As the sun is to the earth
My world had you at its center
You made me glow like an ember
You energized my every action
You showed me compassion
You guided and sheltered
Things changed and the center moved
Like an out of focus photo you were blurred out
Now I won’t take your time
I won’t take your care
I won’t do anything to be in your way
You’re free from me and my transgressions
You won’t find me asking for anything
You won’t need to call me again
You won’t need to delete my communications
You don’t need to meet me again
You don’t have to talk silly talks
You don’t have to sing
You won’t find me near you
You won’t find me in your dreams
You’re finally free to be where you have to be
You have to grow, you have to nurture, and you have so much more to do
Life doesn’t stop for our worlds
With memories of my center I moved on and on
In search of the center that can energize me
Life doesn’t stop for our worlds
Days turned to months
And months to year
Today, after years and years, my thoughts are filled,
Filled with memories flowing from the past
I draw the energy to fill others life
From the ocean you filled me with
You gave me smiles, which I can pass on
You gave me love, which I can share on
After all, Life doesn’t stop for our worlds
Love was not worth, if not lived!!
