The three witches
Hecate, Medea and Congrugatha
Hecate:
“At the drop of night
Upon the stroke of midnight
As the wolves amok run
We shall prepare the cauldron”
Medea:
“The scales of a dragon so old
The spittle of a fish so gold
The whisk of a frogs tail
The hair of a woman with a pail
The quill of a porcupine so young
Marinated in a camel dung”
Congrugatha:
“The cry of a human in pain
The laughter of man whose trust one cannot gain
The fury of a woman
And the grief of one whose innocence cannot be proven
The suspicion of one’s ire
And the bloodlust of a vampire”
(Witches cackle loudly)
All of them:
“Together these shall stop the wheel of time
And we shall forever live in crime!“
