If I hear your voice,
I think all our problems are solved.
But once I hear it,
The problem still remains.
If I hear your voice every day,
I think it will ease the pain.
But even when I hear it daily,
The problem still remains.
When we see each other and video chat,
I think all our troubles disappear.
But after seeing your face,
The problem still remains.
We chat for hours,
And I think this time it will heal the hurt.
But even after endless hours,
The problem still remains.
We are like children,
Pining for what cannot be,
Chasing dreams that elude us—
Childish, yet natural.
But now, I understand the source:
Why does the problem stay?
It’s the constant return of anxiety,
The sorrow, the agony of farewell—
The same pain I felt months ago,
Repeating itself every day.
