An ode to the sky

an ode to the sky

I lie down sometimes,
staring at the sky,
to hear what she has to tell.

At times she is blank
like me, pale and blue;
yet her nakedness is lovely.

But sometimes she is moody;
I feel she is at the verge
of a breakdown.

I ask her to come down
But she will refuse;
And will walk away,
holding hands with the wind.

Once I saw her very happy,
She poured down so hard
Her elegance still mesmerizing me
She danced with the wind.

She was so happy that day;
Her twirls and turns
graciously lit the world.

I have seen her blush,
Kissed by her fiery lover,
Sanked in his colours
She glazed.

One night she woke me up
Exceptionally bright, caressing me,
Kissing me on my cheek gently;
The moon was watching her glide over me,
In that fall, I knew
I was falling for her.
