Life and its tribulationsPoem

The road not taken

the road not taken

She stood at the end of the road
looking through the green
as far as she could

One was yellow,
the least travelled;
the other black
the most travelled.

She took the one most travelled
the black road
with the black heart.

She didn’t wish
She didn’t yearn
She didn’t cry
Because
It was not the black path
but the yellow eyes
which led her.

And
that made it
all different.
