Oh baby! What a cliche movie!
Story is based on granny, Savitri aka Lakshmi, who existed only for her children and grandchildren. She faces all kind of sorrows in entire life and having only one friend Chanti aka Rajendra Prasad who can understand her. She is furious with God that he gave her a miserable and unsatisfied life. She also complains that God has never fulfilled her dreams, her aspirations to be a singer. One fine day God (Jagapathi Babu) finally comes to her and transforms her back to a younger lady. The young granny, Swathi is essayed by Samantha. The story unfolds how she fulfills her dreams and also helps her grandchildren. The scenes are quite entertaining and heart touching too. It has made me cry and laugh.
Reminds us that our grandparents too had dreams. Grandparents lived their lives for our parents and us, watching us being joyful. I was happy to have my grandparents with me. Same is true for most of us. They guide us and enjoy each and everything we do. Their life will be filled with their children and grandchildren’s memories. This movie helps us cherish those moments with our grandparents. If you still have your grandparents then do go watch with them and let them enjoy those moments. If not watch by yourself to relive their dreams in a different take!
