A word of love to a healing heart

A word of love poem by Rooh

I admire you,
For the courage that you are
Despite all that you endured.
In the depth of despair,
Through the flames of torment.
Reluctant to surrender,
Confident, you stood.

Yet, why throb in agony
Long for the heavenly warmth,
Desire the boundless embrace,
Fervor the eternal touch,
Invoke the seething ecstasy.

Why? I contemplate,
Why have you fallen in love?
Fallen in love…
With the life everlasting…

You know not! What lies ahead.
Though you tread in purity
The wits wouldn’t triumph
Believe you may, the truth.

Stride through the alley of purgatory,
paved by the virtuous.
The bliss that is to embrace you.
Will enlighten the immortal in you.

You know not! What lies ahead
Yet you will thrive in the unknown.
To celebrate the nameless.
Infinity in your fist, you’ll hold.
To manifest the intent.

The wit and the wisdom, in harmony
Chants the hymns of heaven
For they honor the divine in you.
For they witnessed beauty
On homecoming of the vagrant.
