I could not even talk to her
At the last moment,
But her prayers are with me.
I could not even see her
At the last moment,
But her blessings are with me.
She was the light of my life.
As she was not just a good wife
Was a good mother, daughter,
And a good friend.
When I cried she held me tight.
She was the existence of a twilight.
I never thought of losing her,
But God took her away.
Hard to believe but that’s the truth.
That’s what her destiny had brought.
I could not be with her
At the last moment,
But her memories are with me.
I could not even say ‘Goodbye’
At the last moment,
But i have a bit of her in me.
I could not feel her heartbeat
At the last moment,
But she is in my heart
For ever and ever…
That’s never-ending!
