A journey so short…
And a few moments of togetherness…
So short the journey
That ends just between a smile and a good bye, for many!
Some in touch,
Some not…
Some remember,
Some do not..!
Some cherish those few good moments,
Some curse the bad ones…
‘Tis our station, the next, or maybe the next..
Time we keep our baggage tidy…
Alas, we want to see ‘our’ perfection in all those around us,
Even while on the footboard!!!
Time to listen to what others want to say,
Than what we want to hear…
Time to lighten the burden,
To know between our ‘wants’ and ‘needs’!
To learn that words are precious,
and to use when it’s more precious than silence, which is golden.
Time to opt for peace,
And not perfection!
For a change, the other person could be right…!!
Maybe, for once, we see a better landscape,
of the very same world,
before we de-board!
